Adi Nes
Currently living and working in Tel Aviv, Nes is a photographer best known for his depictions of Israeli boys and soldiers. His most famous piece, echoing Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, features the penchant for homoeroticism evident in much of Nes’ early work. In 2005, the prestigious Israel Cultural Excellence Foundation chose Nes as an outstanding artist.

Nes has participated in group exhibitions around the world and has given numerous solo exhibitions at renowned venues such as San Francisco’s Legion of Honor, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, and the Melkweg Gallery in Amsterdam. Nes recently exhibited his work at Gallery Praz-Devallade and premiered a new series of pieces echoing Biblical stories.
