Zadok Ben-David
Born in Bayhan, Yemen in 1949, Ben-David emigrated to Israel and studied at Bezalel Academy from 1971 to 1973. After pursuing Fine Arts at Reading University in 1975, Ben-David went on to study and teach sculpture at St. Martin’s School of Art in London. He continued his teaching career at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design Bromley from 1982-85. In 1987, Ben-David became Artist in Residence at Stoke-on-Trent Museum.

Ben-David has had solo exhibitions since 1980 in the U.K., Netherlands, U.S., Belgium, Germany, Australia, Israel, and Singapore and has exhibited internationally in group exhibitions. He represented Israel at the 1988 Venice Biennale. In March 2008, four monumental Ben-David sculptures were shown in Hanover Square, London in an installation sponsored by Sotheby’s.
