Sahar Batsry
Since graduating in 2001 from Bezalel’s Industrial Design department, Batsry has worked alternately as a freelancer and full-time industrial designer for companies in both Tel Aviv and New York. Recent product marketing and development projects have included supermarket point-of-sale signage, packaging design for yogurt beverage bottles, and concept design for the Jerusalem City municipality Light Rail train station. Batsry’s collaboration with designer Maya Shapira, a collection of ceramic tableware called ‘Short Cuts’, is now on display as part of the Object Factory exhibition at Toronto’s Gardiner Museum.
